DEIDRA HEBRON THERAPY

“As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”
– Proverbs 23:7

ONE OF THE MOST UNDERRATED TRUTHS IS THAT WE MUST ACT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR UNCONSCIOUS BELIEFS.
Our unconscious beliefs live deep within the heart and are largely created through childhood experiences. As we grow into adolescence and adulthood, these deeply ingrained beliefs about God, ourselves, and others become continually reinforced - making them feel more and more true over time. This happens because we interpret situations and experiences through familiar internal lenses. Whatever beliefs we carry will dictate how we perceive new experiences. Someone whose mind has been conditioned to see God and love in everything will interpret the same situation very differently than someone conditioned by fear and scarcity.
On top of this, many people who experienced trauma in childhood have also been deeply impacted spiritually. As children, we are highly impressionable, and the enemy knows that if strongholds are formed in the mind at a young age, they can continue influencing our thoughts, behaviours, relationships, and beliefs well into adulthood.
The way I practice hypnotherapy is very different from traditional approaches. With Jesus at the center of the process, we work with the unconscious mind to revisit painful memories that may have become open doors to unhealthy beliefs, emotional wounds, and negative spiritual influence. From there, we prayerfully break unhealthy soul ties and inner vows, while renewing thought patterns and reconditioning neural pathways so your beliefs become aligned with God’s truth and Word.

HYPNOTHERAPY
Questions
Many people associate hypnotherapy with mystical practices, and that’s understandable. For most people, their only exposure to hypnosis is through entertainment - like hypnotists making people bark like dogs or cluck like chickens.
In therapeutic settings, hypnotherapy works with the unconscious mind by guiding clients into a relaxed theta brain wave state to revisit painful memories and address the beliefs formed through those experiences. It’s important to understand that we naturally enter theta states multiple times throughout the day - such as before sleep, during relaxation, or while highly focused. This is part of how God designed the brain to process, heal, and form neural pathways.
Christian hypnotherapy is done much differently than secular hypnotherapy - where the practitioner is under full authority of Jesus and isn't bringing upon healing through their own strength, but instead is inviting God into the picture to do the deep inner work. It's important to note that everyone (not just hypnotherapists) who are not under the full authority of Jesus are susceptible to spiritual influence and danger.
It’s of upmost importance to choose a practitioner who aligns with your spiritual beliefs and has the proper training + qualifications.
No! You remain fully conscious throughout the process, and I cannot make you do or say anything against your will. You have complete control and can come out of the theta state at any time you choose.
Hypnotherapy is a more rapid form of therapy, where many people are able to work through a specific issue within 1-3 sessions. Because of this, many clients experience noticeable changes quickly and often leave sessions feeling immediate relief.
It’s important to understand that the brainwave state used in hypnotherapy is very different from what stage hypnotists use for entertainment. In hypnotherapy, many people do not experience a dramatic “trance-like” feeling, but that does not mean the process is ineffective or that they are not receptive to it. Clients simply feel relaxed, focused, and aware throughout the session.
Theta brain wave is a deeply relaxed state associated with the unconscious mind, where the brain becomes more receptive to processing and integrating information. It is associated with relaxation, light sleep, creativity, emotional processing, and unconscious learning.
We work within this state to identify core wounds and renew the areas of the mind that have been conditioned by limiting beliefs and traumatic experiences.
Hypnotherapy is a direct, short-term approach that many clients find creates noticeable change relatively quickly, while counselling is a more talk-based, longer-term process where progress unfolds over weeks or months. Hypnotherapy works more directly with the unconscious mind, whereas counselling primarily engages the conscious mind.
The session will begin by guiding you into the theta state, followed by regression to uncover the root causes and experiences that led to the issues you're experiencing. From there, we work through these experiences in a supportive way - releasing emotional and spiritual burdens associated with them. Lastly, you'll listen to a theta brain audio (for 21 days following) designed to heal wounds, shift harmful beliefs, release negative emotions & bring alignment to God's word.
I do not practice secular hypnotherapy, as my work is rooted in my Christian faith and is conducted with Jesus at the center. If you are seeking a non-Christian hypnotherapist, I encourage you to do thorough research to make sure your practitioner is properly trained, certified, and follows recognized ethical guidelines.
